Thomas Swan has developed a range of viscosity-reduction products and bonding agents for the rubber processing and polymer industries. We currently manufacture three main product groups:
Peptisers The Pepton ™ range of peptisers is used in rubber and polymer applications. They act to increase the efficiency of internal mixer mastication of natural rubber and unsaturated synthetic elastomers where reduction of viscosity is required.
Bonding Agents
Latex Additives Casastab™ T is a thickening agent for latex compounds. It is recommended for use in latex dips and adhesives as a viscosity modifier. The product can be used without dilution and in coloured latexes.
